Description:


Performs custodial duties to protect and preserve buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishings. This is an ON-CALL POSTING. Hourly rate is $13.00.

Job Summary:


Performs custodial duties. Takes the initiative to perform routine tasks independently.
Cleans, moves and arranges furnishings, supply and equipment as directed.
Keeps the head custodian about emerging issues.
Deals with unexpected situations.
Follows approved safety procedures involving chemicals, solvents, body fluids and/or body tissues. Participates in occupational safety and health training and programs as directed.
Checks daily schedule to find out if a school activity requires preparation or clean up



Qualifications:


High School Diploma or GED required.


A clear BCI/FBI record.


Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.


Skill/experience in boiler operations, preventative maintenance, and basic repair procedures.


Ability to read, understand, and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
