Intern, Marketing & Advertising

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for assisting the Marketing department with advertising and media partnerships.

Primary (Essential) Duties

• Assist and lead digital advertising campaigns and website updates
• Assist and build D-backs email campaigns as requested
• Complete marketing recaps of corporate partner inclusion in advertising
• Assist with promotion of the D-backs Student Pass program
• Assist with execution of marketing events, concerts, Special Events, etc. as assigned
• Submit requests for advertising creative
• Log advertising proof of performance and invoices
• Track website updates for dbacks.com and D-backs email newsletters
• Perform administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities

• Strong interest and knowledge in marketing and advertising
• Strong interest in digital marketing campaigns and email marketing
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong copywriting skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Must enjoy being involved in several projects with the ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Ability to work game nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required

Experience/Education Requirements

• Must be a junior, senior, postgraduate student, or within a year post graduation pursuing a degree from an accredited college. (If you do not meet the internship requirements, please do not apply.)
• Minimum of 20 hours per week, maximum 30
