What You'll Be Doing (aka your everyday impact) - Build and nurture relationships with community leaders and referral partners
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities
- Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their goals and funding needs
- Collect and review financial documents to support sound lending decisions
- Analyze creditworthiness and evaluate collateral
- Structure loan terms and negotiate agreements that work for everyone
- Prepare and present loan proposals for management approval
- Deliver timely application review and excellent communication (no ghosting borrowers - we're all adults here)
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to applicants and small business owners
- Connect with and occasionally present to the Board
- Volunteer and stay visible in the community we serve
