Solar Electrician / Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Solar Installations: Install and maintain photovoltaic (PV) solar panel systems on rooftops and ground mounts for residential and commercial properties.
• Electrical Work: Perform electrical wiring, conduit bending, inverter installations, and system programming to ensure safe and efficient solar energy operations.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair solar power system issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Project Adherence: Ensure projects are completed according to timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver 5-star service.
• Customer Service: Maintain excellent communication with customers to meet and exceed their expectations, educating them on system operation and maintenance.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA safety protocols and ensure adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC), the Battery Energy Storage Systems Codes (BESS), and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in solar energy systems or electrical work.
• Journeyman License preferred but not required.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of the NEC and BESS codes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team.
• Comfortable working at heights, including on rooftops, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to commute or relocate to Milwaukee, WI before starting work.
• NABCEP certification preferred but not required
• Experience with Service Titan CRM preferred but not required
