MIG Welder

A local Erie company is seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level MIG Welder to join their team. This role involves performing basic MIG welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications. TIG welding experience is a plus and may offer additional opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components and assemblies
  
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately
  
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality
  
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in clean, working condition
  
• Assist with material handling, setup, and general shop duties as needed
  
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company guidelines
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic experience or training in MIG welding (technical school or hands-on preferred)
  
• Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings
  
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
  
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  
• Must have own welding helmet, gloves, and steel toe boots
  
• Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for 8 hours
  
• Experience with Tig welding a plus
  

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time
  
• Pay Rate is $18/hr per hour DOE and shift
  
• 1st shift
  
• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
